Liat Considine is a Certified Yoga Therapist who specializes in using yoga as a powerful complementary approach to mental health treatment. By integrating movement, mindfulness, and meditation, Liat empowers neurodivergent children, teens, adults, and families to develop effective relaxation techniques and improve their overall well-being.
After graduating with high honors from UC Berkeley, Liat pursued her passion for body awareness and movement. Her extensive training in ballet & modern dance, combined with her personal journey overcoming perfectionism, anxiety, and body image challenges, inspired her to become a Certified Yoga Instructor in 2002.
Liat integrates her training in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), meditation, and Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) into her yoga practice to help clients better understand and regulate their nervous systems. By focusing on the connection between mind and body, her work addresses anxiety, depression, OCD, grief, and trauma. Through relaxation techniques and somatic practices, Liat helps clients release tension, restore balance, and build resilience.
Liat's engaging and adaptive teaching style has been widely praised in schools and community programs throughout Los Angeles. Specializing in working with children, she infuses her sessions with playfulness and creativity while incorporating yoga postures, breathwork, affirmations, and guided imagery. Her thoughtful approach supports emotional regulation, self-awareness, and stress reduction.
With extensive experience supporting both individuals and groups, Liat collaborates closely with the team to personalize each program and align it with clients' treatment plans.
