Alexandra Feldman, OTD, OTR/L

Doctor of Occupational Therapy

Dr. Alexandra Feldman is a licensed occupational therapist (OT) born and raised in Los Angeles. Dr. Feldman is passionate about providing individualized self-management interventions for individuals with anxiety, ADHD, and ASD struggling with issues related to executive function, fatigue, stress, poor sleep, employment, weight-management and work/life balance looking to establish new habits and routines to support function and well-being.

Dr. Feldman works with adolescents and adults to increase and/or improve function and engagement in daily activities. Rather than trying to fix the issues impacting function, Dr. Feldman’s clinical expertise lies in finding ways around the issues to facilitate engagement and progress. Through a collaborative, non-judgmental approach, clients will gain the insight and tools necessary to navigate current and future obstacles with increased independence and confidence.

Dr. Feldman received her bachelor’s degree in communication from Northwestern University, and both her master’s and clinical doctorate from the University of Southern California. During her master’s she gained clinical expertise in trauma-informed care for children and adolescents with severe behavioral issues, early childhood trauma, and a wide range of mental health diagnoses and co-morbidities at Vista Del Mar Child and Family Services, Vista School (NPS). Dr. Feldman went on to complete her doctoral residency in advanced clinical practice and clinical research at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, where she specialized in the application of individualized self-management skills training and health behavior change interventions to manage chronic conditions, including side effects of cancer and cancer treatment, as well as obesity and weight-management. While at Cedars-Sinai, Dr. Feldman led a pilot-study to demonstrate the efficacy of a personalized self-management approach in improving function and quality of life in individuals with chronic conditions.

She is thrilled to be part of the Spectrum Psych Los Angeles multidisciplinary team, where she joins esteemed colleagues in applying this framework to support neurodiverse individuals.
